Are Hailea chillers good?
Hailea chillers are great value for money, especially when compared to expensive competitor brands that do the same thing. Hailea chillers are important for growing coral in marine tanks and are essential to keeping a relatively constant temperature for deep sea fish that are not suited for fluctuating temperatures. The most important thing to remember is to provide them with a proper flow rate.
What are Hailea aquarium chillers good for?
Just as aquarium heaters keep fish tanks warm for tropical fish, aquarium chillers maintain a cooler temperature for fish that are adapted to cold water. An aquarium chiller is essentially a tiny refrigerator that is installed with an external filtration system to cool the water as it passes through.
When you combine a chiller with a thermostat, this will prevent the tank from rising above a certain pre-set temperature. Hailea aquarium chillers do just this and are a necessity for cold water aquariums.
Are Hailea aquarium chillers noisy?
While all chillers make some noise, Hailea chillers are significantly less audible than most (about the same volume as a minifridge). Depending on your noise sensitivity, you may not want to keep a fish tank with a chiller in your bedroom while you’re sleeping.
