Cuttle Bone 50g

Cuttle bones make a great dietary supplement for pets with their high calcium content. Most commonly used for pet birds, hermit crabs and some reptiles species, cuttle bones offer a great natural source of calcium and enrichment. Birds also enjoy using them to polish their beaks which removes any scaley excess on the outside, and they also offer enrichment as something to play with and chew on in their enclosure. 

The best way to attach a cuttle bone to your enclosure is with treat clips or special cuttlebone holders. You can also break them apart and add them to your pets foraging tray, or use a mortar and pestle to grind into a powder and add a small amount to your pets food. However, we recommend speaking to an avian specialist about how much to add to your specific birds diet before doing so.
