This feed is perfect for those owners who themselves are vegetarian, or who simply prefer not to feed their birds any animal products. The Organic Backyard Vegetarian Layer Pellet sources its protein from quality certified organic vegetable ingredients such as wheat, mung beans, sunflower meal, safflower meal and soy meal.

Application

This feed is strategically formulated to provide all the essential vitamins and minerals to ensure consistency in laying and provide well formed, strong-shelled eggs with vibrant yolks.

Directions

Formulated for laying birds (from approx. 18 - 20 weeks). It is advisable to blend the layer feed with the Chicken Starter Grower from 16 weeks of age to assist with the transition into the layer feed.
