On March the 25th, Pet City celebrated 60 years of business. The day started with an opening ceremory with Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Evio Contenati, accompanied by the Pet City team, Councillors of surrounding suburbs and customers.

The day was packed full of exciting things to do and see, including some marvelous macaws, cool reptiles and Big Dog's mascot who gave out high-fives and hugs! There were heaps of tasty things to try, including a juice van, cake, barbeque, and something for the dogs too! On offer for the dogs was Hugo's ice cream, Paw Blonde doggie beer, and bucket loads of free samples!

If you were after a bargain, Pet City had an awesome 60% off sale where customers had the chance to win a whopping discount. The birthday catalogue '60 Specials for 60 Days' offered storewide discounts to all pet owners too.

All in all, Pet City's 60th Birthday was a fantastic success, and we thank everybody (customers, representitives, staff and everybody who visited on the day) for being a part of this very special event.
